Warranty terms*

1. The period for claims of defects is 18 months from delivery EXW Warehouse Hamburg.
2. The customer shall inspect all deliveries carefully and completely upon receipt. Defects and shortages which are apparent during the inspection must be reported in writing within seven days after receipt of the goods. Otherwise, the entire delivery is deemed approved. Isiris shall be informed immediately of any other defects. In the event of non-timely notification of defects, any claims for defect are excluded. The issuing of any complaint shall be made in writing, specifying the alleged error as well as the circumstances of its occurrence. If the aforesaid obligations to cooperate are violated by the customer, Isiris shall be compensated for all additional expenses arising therefrom by the customer.
3. A warranty does not apply if a defect is caused by improper use, care or maintenance on the part of the customer as well as the use of unsuitable accessories or consumables, which were not recommended by the manufacturer or by Isiris. It also excludes any mistakes arising from natural wear and tear or excessive wear.
4. The warranty is initially restricted to subsequent performance. The customer may withdraw from the contract or demand the reduction of the purchase price if the supplementary performance remains ultimately unsuccessful, is rejected by Isiris or not executed within a reasonable period.
5. In the event of withdrawal, the customer shall be required to pay Isiris to the usual extent for the possible advantages of the delivered goods in the meantime.
6. In all cases, the customer shall bear the transport risk for forwarding and returning the goods. The transport, work and material costs incurred as a result of justified complaints shall be borne by Isiris. In case of unauthorized complaints, the customer undertakes to replace Isiris all costs arising therefrom.
7. The assignment of deficiency claims to third parties by the customer is excluded.
